This image is a composite of 200 images taken after the full moon was high enough in the so that it was no longer in the picture but illuminated the mittens. The last image was taken just before sunrise producing the red, orange, and yellow colors in the sky above the horizon. The images were blended in the digital darkroom to produce the final image seen here.
